How to get and depart to the temple of sinawava

The Temple of Sinawava is located at the end of the Virgin River Narrows, which can be accessed from either the Temple Quarry Trailhead or the Grotto Trailhead.

The hike from the Temple Quarry Trailhead is shorter, but it does require a bit of scrambling over rocks. The hike from the Grotto Trailhead is longer but generally easier.

Whichever trailhead you choose, allow yourself at least 2-3 hours to reach the temple, and there you’ll be greeted with some incredible views.

There are two main trails that depart from the Temple of Sinawava: Riverside Walk and The Narrows. Riverside Walk is an easy, paved trail that follows the Virgin River for about 2 miles.

It’s a great option if you’re looking for a relatively easy hike with beautiful scenery. The narrows, on the other hand, are a bit more challenging.

This trail takes you into the river itself—you’ll be wading through water for much of the hike. But it’s well worth it, as The Narrows is one of the most popular trails in Zion National Park.

If you’re planning a trip to Zion National Park, be sure to add the Temple of Sinawava to your list of places to explore. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing stroll or a more challenging hike, there’s something for everyone at the Temple of Sinawava.
