The Cafe is a great place to enjoy some delicious British cuisine. The pasties are especially noteworthy – they’re hearty and filling, and make for a perfect lunchtime snack.
The fish and sandwiches are also very tasty, and the ice cream is definitely worth trying. If you fancy something a little stronger, the absinthe is very well-made and extremely enjoyable.
And of course, no visit to Putsborough Beach Cafe would be complete without sampling one of their excellent coffees or teas. So if you’re in the mood for some good old-fashioned British food, this is definitely the place to go.

There is a small car park at Putsborough Beach, which is open all year round. The High Season rates given are approximate and may be lower at other times of the year. Parking charges do apply, however, and these can be found below.

Is Putsborough Beach Dog Friendly?
The beach is divided into two sections – the section below the beach shop is known as the “dog-free” zone, while the section north of the shop is known as the “dog-friendly” zone.
Dogs are allowed on the dog-friendly section of the beach all year round, but they are banned from the dog-free section from 1st April to 31st October (some signs say Easter to 31st October). This is to protect breeding birds who use the area between Putsborough and Croyde.
